Hotlink logging

How can I adjust LS logging of detected hotlinks (INFO log)? I have had server online for 10 hours and I get LS admin log size 5,607.19 KB, full on entries like

[72.82.96.82:50933-9#xxxxxxxx.com] [HOTLINK] Direct access detected, access denied.

And what does the entry mean? What file was accessed?

You should allow "Direct Access", which means that a "Referer" header is not required. Some personal internet firewall like Norton remove "Referer" header, it may make trouble with your site.

Thanks, yes I got some complaints from people who browse without refererer that they see hotlink protection images all over, allowing direct access fixed it.
