Per Client Throttling Settings

I'm kinda a newbee so sorry for these questions.

In the admin CP for the settings for the Per Client Throttling what are the suggested values, I have a fairly active VPS but nothing crazy but want to make sure I am secured.

Maybe people would like to share what values people have for them. By default there set to zero(unlimited) or some enormously high amount.

Static Requests/second
Dynamic Requests/second
Outbound Bandwidth (bytes/sec)
Inbound Bandwidth (bytes/sec)
Connection Soft Limit
Connection Hard Limit
Grace Period (sec)
Banned Period (sec)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
