Netcraft web server surey: LiteSpeed passes 400,000 hostnames this month

According to the latest Netcraft surey,

There is also good growth for LiteSpeed (http://litespeedtech.com/), a commercial web server designed as a high-performance drop-in replacement for Apache, which passes 400,000 hostnames this month (partly due to its use by blogging provider WordPress.com (http://wordpress.com/).

hmm I could have swore I done replied to this. Anyway congrats guys, you have made a killer product, I couldn't make it without it.

Although I think netcraft is misinformed about everyone choosing litespeed because wordpress has it. Unless they are implying that wordpress owns most of these hostnames.

I think Litespeed's growth is mainly fueled by word of mouth and communities/forums like webhostingtalk. I know I never really heard ot it until I seen a post on WHT where someone was suggesting it to someone . I tried out my first trial version shortly after and havent turned back since.

Here's to 400 k more :)
