Query re cPanel type tools

Hi,

I have a LSWS/Rails 1.2/Ubuntu running nicely, but wanted to know if it was absolutely necessary to install a cPanel-like tool to administer a server running 2 small business sites, with an ecommerce portal and a blog?

I plan to reinstall LSWS and use the Awstats module, so is administration a viable concern via CLI?

You do not need to install a web hosting control panel like cPanel. Our web console should have web related configuration covered. control panel can help you manage other part of the system like DNS, webmail, service monitoring, etc.

It is really up to you that how comfortable you are when you need to manage the server via command line when need to. :)
