I do thousands of IP lookups per second thru the IP2location DB in Apache thru MySQL since IP2location doesn't have support as an Apache Module.

I see that Litespeed supports Maxmind DB, but how about Ip2Location's DB? I already purchased IP2location DB5 and I don't think I can afford Maxmind (too costly) $90/mo updates.

I don't think Litespeed supports IP2Location DB because as soon as I loaded that 55MB BIN file, Litespeed refused to start although the CL response said:
[OK] lshttpd: pid=5334.

Am I wrong? Or if Litespeed supports IP2L DB, how can I memcache it?

Thanks,
Bill

Since IP2Location API is licensed under GPL, we can not use it.
Maxmind is the only option now.
$90/month updates is a bit too high, but do you really need to update it every month?

Thanks. I was able to figure out a way to use Ip2Location with caching.
