Litespeed alongside Apache

im currently running a forum and video tube site i would like to install litespeed but keep apache for my video tube site since it only works on apache is there any tutorial anywhere that show you how to install litespeed while keeping apache:( and oh yea on plesk 10

LiteSpeed by default supports this.

However if you need static deliver look into a optimization sysadmin and varnish.

ok great do you have any other documentation to get me started with the installation i googled i found out dated ones

Please specify the port for normal HTTP service.
Port 80 is the standard HTTP port, only 'root' user is allowed to use
port 80, if you have another web server running on port 80, you need to
specify another port or stop the other web server before starting LiteSpeed
Web Server.
You can access the normal web page at http://<YOUR_HOST>:<HTTP_PORT>/

what do i do if i already have my forum and everything set up

since you have Apache running and you need to make sure LiteSpeed runs ok before switch over, you should choose a different port for LSWS (say 8080).

ok i got everything up and running im confused where do you put the files i know on cpanel you put it in /public_html and for plesk you put it in the httpd but where on litespeed

LSWS, in this case, is a drop-in for Apache. You would do everything as usual in Plesk (/var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs). LSWS (reading Apache conf) will pick it up.
