Does anyone have a guide or setup information for being fully compatible with cPanel?

This is something Litespeed advertises is fully compatible, but even 6 months later we are still having issues with open_base and pear, since the paths to PHP are not the same as cPanel.

Does any have any idea step by step on what we need todo to get this working?

Why not install the same version of PHP to the default location where cPanel installs it? I think it should be /usr/local.
If you need to support both PHP 4 and 5, you have to make decision which version is the primary, installed to the default location, which version is the secondary, install it to a non-standard location. The primary version will work exactly as when Apache is used.

That is great, but how?

People use cPanel for the ease of use for administering it. So we need step by step guides. Can you guys do this?
