This is still being worked on, though we're not sure what form the final product will take. We are looking into adding functionality to Turpentine to allow it to take advantage of LSCache's more complete ESI support. We did have some communication with Nexcess earlier, but they have not tried 5.0 RC2 yet. I'd like to get them to officially support LSCache with Turpentine, but I don't know if they will. We could use your (and other users') support on this. It may help if some LiteSpeed users ask them independently to show that there is demand for this.

Cheers,

Michael

Thanks for the information Michael !

I will see what we can do to make them know we would like this :)

Varnish claims that it only integrated the ESI features that made a difference, would the aditional features make a big differece compared to Varnishes implementation ?

Thanks

We believe so, and we will be doing benchmarks to try to prove it. We were planning on doing that testing in concert with Nexcess, but we may have to do so on our own.
