Hosting with Standard Edition.

Can you use the Standard Edition out of the box to host several VHosts? My plan is to set up a server with the Standard Edition, start use that with some customers, and if that works as good as it does now when I run it locally buy the Enterprise Edition. Any comments of possible pitfalls? Can you start move over domains running in Apache + php without any problems? What about Rails and hosting several domains?

This should answer most of your questions: http://www.litespeedtech.com/product...rver/editions/

Can you do it, yes, but only for 5 domains. Your going to loose the mod_security functionality/shared hosting ruby functionality.

Isn't that 5 "Max Virtual hosts from Apache httpd.conf"? What about VH without any involvement by Apache?
