Is Enterprise Trial is 1CPU version?

Hi,

I would like to know if the Enterprise Trial of Litespeed is 1CPU version?

Also,
seem like litespeed 3.2.x have problem with Vbulletin something.
Sometime i cant login to Vbulletin if i dont mark "remember me".

This happens to litespeed forum and my forum too, not always but occasionaly.

It is a 2CPU license. You will get similar result from 1-CPU license for vBulletin like application, unless the server need to serve a lot static files, like a gallery.

I did not notice the problem you described. I think it is more likely a vbulletin problem, not LiteSpeed, if it is true.

Okie, I have another question.

I am running trial version on a Dual Core opteron 180 (2.0Ghz each core) and i am planning to upgrade to Quad Core Xeon clovertown (1.6Ghz each core).

This gonna be used for plain litespeed webserver only( with alot of concurrent connections at peak).

So is there different in performance between 1CPU or 2CPU or even 4CPU liecence?

It depends on how much static content/SSL traffic need to be served, how high the disk I/O wait is on that server, if any of above is high, 2CPU or 4CPU license will do much better job than 1CPU license. For mainly PHP powered site, 1CPU should do well.

Thanks
No SSL traffic needed, i/o diskwait is not a problem since i have SCSI 15K

Thanks, so would you think upgrade faster CPU like above would solve my highload problem?

Right now my load stay about 10 - 25 at peak (about 2000 people online)

load at 10 -25 with 2000 people online is normal, comparing with load at 300 with Apache, it is a great improvement. Faster CPU could help if there is no idle CPU cycle at peak with your current CPU.
