License Error: Failed to send registration request.
Hello,
I recently install LSWS using a Enterprise Trail version license, the license file was install without any issue and the site had been working find for 2 days. But after I restarted the server today I am seeing the following error on Web Admin Console: Found 1 warning/error messages in the log: 2008-12-22 08:31:40.397 ERROR [LICENSE] Failed to send registration request. I have checked and can confirm that the license file is still defnately in the install directory. Before I try and reinstall the license file I just wanted to know is there any reason why I would be getting the message? As we have a firewall that by default blocks all outgoing connections and wanted to make sure that LSWS does not "call home" to verify its license status. Cheers, Seetal |

Thanks for the quick response. With regards to firewall rules which IP address / IP Range should I open up in order for the license check to work properly?

Yes, you need to open port 80 to http://license.litespeedtech.com
