please give more detail about how you setup the cache.

you can start to try cache 1 php page.

Hello
Do you have any Instant Messenger ? We better live chat ? Or what infos do you need to look into this , btw with Litespeed i have a problem like
the Request in processing is much higher than Request / sec and this make the server running slow , i tried to use Varnish plugin for Cpanel and it run abit faster than Litespeed ( with out cache ) but not stable as Litespeed so i changed to Litespeed and want to check the Cache function but unable to do it . Could i provide all the servers and site info and then you setup the cache for me please ?
PS : i followed the generale Guide but unsucceful seem NO cache hits .

I can try to set up an example cache for you(e.g., just cache a few pages) and you finish the rest.

Hello
I ve send you a PM about my server/site detail please help me thanks so much

NiteWave 09-19-2011 01:28 AM

the main reason of cache not working is because cache Storage Path not set.

Server->Cache->Storage Path:

as stated in
http://www.litespeedtech.com/support...itespeed:cache
How to enable LiteSpeed Cache
step 1.

Cache hits / sec seem very low ? Only 2 hits/sec ? while request in processing is like 70/s

server4vn 09-19-2011 01:57 AM

Total Req 229,217 Total Cache Hits 9,271
Cache Hit Rate 4.04% Cache Hits/Sec 2.0

This is really low i think ?

NiteWave 09-19-2011 03:38 AM

actually the cache rate is higher than reported.
since lsws serve static contents efficiently and don't cache them, only cache dynamic pages like php, so the reported rate looks low. the "Total Reqs" include both static and dynamic requests.

another way to improve the cache hit rate is to improve the rewrite rules in .htaccess and increase cache time.

How to improve rewrite rules
and what you think is reasonable cache time
my server spec i told you in PM
