[Solved] LiteSpeed is not up! Please check log file for errors.
 

Hi

Today my server suddenly went down, i use trial version so i can decide if i want to move this server to litespeed or not

After that i could login to cpanel and i noticed that in the litespeed plugin section it says that neither apache or litespeed were up and running, so i tried restarting the litespeed and here is what i got
"LiteSpeed is not up! Please check log file for errors."

Tried re-installation twice as well and it didnt work

run this from command line:

read the screen shot: "netstat -ntpl | grep litespeed" return nothing

is there license problem ?

ok, i tried uploading the trial key again, it showwed the proper status for about few seconds but after that when i clicked on check the lisence it stoped working again

i dont know much about linux but i know that ls dont show the trial.key =/

please note this info:
[ERROR] Failed to find your license key under - /usr/local/lsws/ or /usr/local/lsws/conf/!

either /usr/local/lsws/trial.key or /usr/local/lsws/conf/trial.key should exist

otherwise, the trial version won't run. maybe you deleted the file accidently.
try re-apply for a trial key and copy to /usr/local/lsws/, see if any progress.

i tried reuploading it manually and from the interface but it's still the same, i can see the file using sftp but it still says

[ERROR] Failed to find your license key under - /usr/local/lsws/ or /usr/local/lsws/conf/!

how long did you have this server?
