LSWS 4.2: suEXEC Daemon disables Suhosin?

We currently run LSWS 4.2 on cPanel servers.

When the LSWS settings are as follows:
Auto-Start: Through CGI Daemon
Run On Start Up: Yes
Then phpinfo() shows this:
This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2012 Zend Technologies
with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.2.2, Copyright (c) 2002-2012, by ionCube Ltd., and
with Zend Guard Loader v3.3, Copyright (c) 1998-2010, by Zend Technologies
with Suhosin v0.9.33, Copyright (c) 2007-2012, by SektionEins GmbH
But when we change the LSWS settings to:
Auto-Start: Through CGI Daemon
Run On Start Up: suEXEC Daemon
Then phpinfo() shows this (no Suhosin is mentioned!):
This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2012 Zend Technologies
with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.2.2, Copyright (c) 2002-2012, by ionCube Ltd., and
with Zend Guard Loader v3.3, Copyright (c) 1998-2010, by Zend Technologies
Is this a bug, or is Suhosin no longer needed in suEXEC Daemon mode?

could be cagefs if you use it. the php.ini inside the cage and out of the cage is different.

We are not using cagefs, just normal CentOS 6 64-bit running cPanel.

Can you test at your end? We used EasyApache to include Suhosin.
