monitor bandwidth usage per virtualhost
Hello Guys,
I'm new to lightspeed and I have this question, we have a lot of websites (virtualhost) in our current lightspeed server and we would like to know is there a way we could monitor its bandwidth usage per virtualhost? I came across this article http://blog.webhostingdiscussion.net...-in-apache.htm Is there a similar tool I could turn-on for this? Thanks. |
you can create a "bytes log" for each virtual host, then calculate the bandwidth usage for each virtual host. I think this is what cPanel has done in this way.

The thing is we are not using cPanel is there any alternative without the cPanel? |
have to write your own script to analyze the log files to get the bandwidth usage per virtual host, mimic cPanel's perl script.
|
Could you point to a sample script for this cause I'm new to parsing bytes log files.
Thanks, |
FYI:
http://serverfault.com/questions/146...-host-is-using it provide an sample with only 1 line awk script. |
