I just tried all possible combinations and it looks like suEXEC daemon is the problem.

When I have suEXEC daemon on, either with LVE or CageFS, I have this 2-3 second hanging between page loads....

LiteSpeed v4.1.13 showing as latest release

I never got the LiteSpeed update manager to show v4.2 so I did a forced upgrade to v4.2 via ssh

/usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/lsup.sh -f -v 4.2

Now even though I have v4.2 installed, it continues...

If it set it to suEXEC daemon and restart, nothing works, not even the phpinfo page. I get a 503 error instead.
