    TLS Server Name Indication/TLS v1.2

I was wondering the TLS SNI Extension could be added to LSWS for support of SSL name-based virtual hosts. It's a pretty recent thing, but for my sites I end up using a certificate with a subjectAltName. I currently self-sign instead of paying for this as my subjectAltName's change so I end up...

    Graceful Restart/IPv6 Unable to Rebind

On my CentOS 5.2 x86 (kernel: 2.6.18) box I'm running Litespeed 4.0.9 and using IPv6. When I gracefully restart, Litespeed is unable to rebind the IPv6 addresses until the next graceful restart after all old processes shut down. 2009-08-01 18:59:51.520 ERROR HttpListener::start(): Can't...

bytelog configured in LSWS vhost doesn't work.

I'm running LSWS 3.3.3 on CentOS Enterprise 4.6 i686. It is a dynamic site. I posted about a problem I had with the LSWS bytelogger a few months back, and just now checked to see if it had been resolved. I checked today to see if LSWS had started properly logging bytes again, but as of yet...

    Toggle for Byte Log Rollover

Unfortunately with how CPanel works, rollover doesn't seem to compute with it. Can you add a toggle for byte log rollover, or have it be date rather than size based?

    Interesting Apache/LSWS Co-existence Issues

Let my lay out my setup here. I have a CPanel server for my clients, and I loathe it, but my clients love it. Because of this I run CPanel with Apache for my clients. In parallel on another IP address I run LSWS for my own personal sites. Up until now they've co-existed fine for months. Apache...

Minor (if rather annoying) Spelling Bug

In the version management window when it asks to download the new release (which, I noticed, no longer downloads but redirects you to the download page) the word Download is misspelled. Donwload :)

    Bytelogger

After a week of using the bytelogger I noticed CPanel still does not pick up bandwidth. The bytelogger does work, as reading it has all the separate bytes per request on each line. I looked at other bytelogs (in /usr/local/apache/domlogs) and found this format: 1146435598 2164 . 1146435599...

    Ruby Setup - LSAPI

Okay, so I'm setting up Ruby (not Ruby on Rails) to work with LSWS with the new LSAPI module, and I need a little help. I decided to use the dispatcher, so I created a LSAPI module with a url of a /tmp/lshttpd/ruby_ns.sock, and the command being the lsruby_runner.rb script. I added a Script...

    Ruby LSAPI

Great work! I only recently have starting using Ruby/Ruby on Rails and this new LSAPI module is great, and it'd seem unique. Props to the devs for their work on integrating Ruby more fully into the web. =)

Web/Proxy Server Configuration Help (VHost/Server level)

I noticed when trying to setup LSWS as a proxy server for CPanel, that with identical configurations on both the VHost and the Server level works differently. When configuring at the server level, the HTTP realm authentication pops up, but does not load the page. When using the identical...

Inbound/Outbound Bandwidth Limits in VHosts (Web Interface)

Just curious, but why isn't the inbound and outbound bandwidth limits included in the Security tab of the Virtual Hosts on the Web Interface? The only way I've found to set it on a host by host level is manually editing the configuration.

    Great work!

I just wanted to express my gratitude and awe that I hold for this web server. While I don't use it on a production setting (yet), I use a Standard Edition server for my Research & Development needs, and I must say, it is far better than any I have ever used. I certainly am glad I was curious...
