What's the optimal number for "PHP suEXEC Max Conn" please?

Is it 1 CPU with 4 cores? Or it's equivalent to 1 CPU core?

I have lsws 2 cores installed. mySQL is optimized too. But when I have high traffic (from real-time starts of lsws, I have nearly 600 requests in processing and 40 requests/sec), the server is very slow. Server load is not very high, just around 2. Server has 4GB RAM and it's quad core CPU...

In apache config, I have enabled server-status, so I can view processes by browser. However, after installing litespeed, it seems not take that setting. How to enable server-status for litespeed please? Thanks.

okay, I have replaced xcache by eAccelerator in /dev/shm. Plus applied some tricks from here http://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php#os_tuning_tips. The load is going down to around 4 now. Is there any other thing I can do? Thanks.

I have lsws 4.0 running already. Installed xcache today. From phpinfo(), xcache is enabled already, and loaded However, when viewing xcache admin control panel, there is no cache. Is there any special setting that I will need to do? Thanks.

I am running 4.0. I wonder if I should upgrade to 4.0.1 now? Also, in my Version Manager page, there is not Upgrade option. Just download and release notes links. Will I need to download the installation file, and run upgrade from there? I don't mind to upgrade in ssh, just want to make sure...
