I decided to try the example at
http://www.litespeedtech.com/support...ki:python_fcgi
using Jon's python fcgi library.

I'm getting essentially the same result, just a different error number:
[127.0.0.1:55515-0#www.example.com] Handler with type id [136967080] is not implemented.
