Default Moving from Apache to LS.... 15 days trial license key: Sub performance

Hi,

I'm testing LS Enterprise (trial license) and I'm getting bad results with just one specific WordPress site, here are WHM 'top' excerpts:

Day one LiteSpeed:
Top Process %CPU 58.0 lsphp5:/home/useromitted/public_html/index.php
Top Process %CPU 53.2 lsphp5
Top Process %CPU 53.0 lsphp5:/home/useromitted/public_html/index.php

Day two Apache:
Top Process %CPU 13.0 /usr/bin/php
Top Process %CPU 7.4 /usr/bin/php

Day three LiteSpeed:
Top Process %CPU 61.3 lsphp5:/home/useromitted/public_html/index.php
Top Process %CPU 58.0 lsphp5:/home/useromitted/public_html/index.php
Top Process %CPU 48.5 lsphp5:/home/useromitted/public_html/index.php

Day four Apache
Top Process %CPU 5.6 /usr/bin/php
Top Process %CPU 5.4 /usr/bin/php
Top Process %CPU 5.1 /usr/bin/php

Day five LiteSpeed
Top Process %CPU 60.8 lsphp5:/home/useromitted/public_html/index.php
Top Process %CPU 59.2 lsphp5
Top Process %CPU 54.0 lsphp5:/home/useromitted/public_html/index.php

The above numbers are just for the mentioned WP site. The site is visible slower with LS that with Apache. But the rest of the sites hosted load fine.

The site uses W3 Total Cache plugin, but we have another WordPress site using and gives no problems.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

If you use eAccelerator, turn it off.

Hi,

Indeed we use it with Apache, but I was under the impression that LS uses its own without doing any movement.

By "turn it off" you mean at LS web Admin or recompile Apache PHP without it and then compile lsphp version ?

Thanks

Just comment it out from php.ini
If you use Apache suphp, it has not effect anyway.

I have 3 other servers running fine with eAccelerator. I don't understand why this particular server does not and why should eAccelerator be turned off.

Anyway I did turn it off and it's slow still and with high CPU load.

something must be wrong at this server. in general, eAccelerator should work. Please check the WP configuration, if any inefficient plugin(s) installed. disable one by one if you can and see if any difference.
