Error 403 Forbidden - you don't have the permissions

Hello,

We are getting this error for all php websites that are hosted on the server :

Error 403: Forbidden

You don't have permissions to access this page. This usually means one of the following:

this file and directory permissions make them unavailable from the Internet.
.htaccess contains instructions that prevent public access to this file or directory.

Please check file and directory permissions and .htaccess configuration if you are able to do this. Otherwise, request your webmaster to grant you access.

How can we solve this, Litespeed is up, ports open, php running and nothing has been changed so far.

PS: All html websites are up.

Hello,

We might found the error that cause the 403 forbidden.

We have LiteSpeed/4.0.20 Enterprise and we have found this error:

error - [ACL] Access to context [/] is denied!

I think the above error is the cause of why all php websites like WordPress etc.. Are not up and show the 403 forbidden.

Can you tell me how to solve this please.

The issue was resolved soon after by upgrading lsws to 4.1.1.
