[Solved] apache returning to default upon server reboot.

Hi,

Yesterday something strange happened which was rather frustrating. Upon rebooting my server and carrying on casually, it was until around 20 minutes later I noticed that my website was not working as it should and that apache decided to become the default webserver application. Having switched litespeed back to default all was well, until another reboot earlier down to a ram upgrade caused apache to set itself as the default server again.

make sure you have httpd wrapper setup

ls -l /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd*

You do not have httpd wrapper setup. hence the problem. Set Auto Reload Apache Conf to "Using Apache binary wrapper" should fix it.

Ah yes that would make sense. I tweaked my configuration and for some reason litespeed decided to revert itself.
