Current PHP version

Is it ok to edit buildconf.inc.php in /usr/local/lsws/admin/html/utility/build_php to obtain current versions of PHP? Since I don't use Suhosin I don't need to wait for it and can upgrade to newest version.

PS.
In my mind versions should be store on LiteSpeed's servers so we don't have to edit manually version or get them with next LSWS releases. Custombuild in DA works that way and it's brilliant.
