Default Upgrade to 4.0.11

Been running 4.0.10, and I see 4.0.11 is now out.

Before, it was a easy couple of clicks to upgrade to the new version, with no downtime and no hassle.

Now, it takes you to the download page.

What is the recommended way to upgrade now with no/minimal downtime?

Download the .tar.gz, decompress, copy in the serial.no (key), and re-run the install script?

Some of the servers have been using LiteSpeed since 4.0.3

Please advise. Thanks.

Yes, just upgrade manually to 4.0.11, once upgraded, you can upgrade from web console for future releases.

1. decompress the package into a convenient location:
tar xvfz lsws-xxxx.tar.gz

2. run install.sh and select 'upgrade', your current configuration will be kept.

Service will be restarted after upgrade, so I think there is about 2 seconds of downtime there.

Actually, there is no downtime as Litespeed does graceful restart.

Default Permission problems after upgrade

After upgrading, I'm now unable to make any configuration changes.

When trying to create a new vhost, I get this error when trying to add a new domain to the template:

*path /home/****** does not exist. Please create manually.

This path does exist.

And when trying to make a change to an existing host, I receive the same error.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
