is 4.1.1 really ready to use in production environment ?

i was curious to know litespeed 4.1.1 is really ready to be used in production servers ? presently i am using 4.0.20 on my server and pretty much happy with it but 4.1.x seems to have much more features / optimization which is making me lean towards upgrade ,so i was keeping an eye on forum to see whether any major issues encountered but i see many petty issues arising and build is regularly updated , so i want to ask community whether i should upgrade now or still wait ?

got no responses so installed it and got nearly 50 503 messages within 12 hours removed it and back to 4.0.20

can you paste logs for some of the 503 errors?

where to check ? i use xcache and litespeed cache both is that a reason ?

503 error should be logged in /path/to/lsws/logs/error.log (e.g. /usr/local/lsws/logs/error.log or /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log), grep the entries around the time 503 occurred.

you should disable xcache to see if 503 error goes away.
