Default ls 3.2.2 debian etch error: bash: ./lshttpd: No such file or directory

Hi,

today i wanted to install litespeed 3.2.2 on debian etch but came across a "funny" error.

server config:
Code:
debian etch: Linux 2.6.16.29-xen amd x86_64
litespeed 3.2.2 standard
the installation went smoothly but when i tried to start the server i got this:

Code:
/usr/local/lsws/bin/lswsctrl start
./lswsctrl: line 43: ./lshttpd: No such file or directory
then i tried to run the erver by executing the lshttpd and got this:

Code:
-bash: ./lshttpd: No such file or directory
but of course the file is there.

Code:
installation dir: /usr/local/lsws
user/group: lsws/lsws
i have no idea what to do now. ANY help is appreciated
thanks!

Andrej
