Default Installing with Ensim Pro X

Just wondering, has anyone used LiteSpeed in conjunction with Ensim? I know it's listed on the home page as compatible, but there don't seem to be any resources in the Wiki that are Ensim-specific. Is it compatible out-of-the-box with the Ensim system? Particularly logging comes to mind, and also that Ensim uses a system of hard links and chrooted sites for PHP/Perl scripts each site utilizing it's own config.

Does the native SuExec in LiteSpeed override the Ensim system currently, or does it just utilize the httpd config already in place to achieve the same result?

Thanks for any advice you can offer. LiteSpeed works great with DirectAdmin, but the bulk of our servers use Ensim currently.

It may need some tweeks to make it work perfectly. If you are interested, we can work together on this.

Default Ensim PRO X with High Security Mode sites

We have at least 15-20 Ensim Pro X servers with sites in high security mode.

High security mode sites have:
- chroot environment
- php.ini for each site
- php as CGI
- access / error logs in chroot environment

Is it safe using LiteSpeed with such settings without compromise functionality and break Ensim/Parallels PRO upgrade procedure?

You mentioned some "tweeks", can you provide me some more info?

Thanks a lot,

Enzo

We thought Ensim is close to dead after Parallels took over it, so we do not follow up it closely. Glad that Parallels has finally released something.

Litespeed should have no problem to support those features if not all of them are supported now. We need to get a sample Apache httpd configuration file generated by ensim for testing. then try to setup a internal test environment, if we could not, we need some help to verify functions in a production server (without affecting production usage).
