Netcraft 09/05 ... how comes?

Hi there,

I've just looked at the latest netcraft survey (http://survey.netcraft.com/Reports/0509/) and they show
a lot of new sites with litespeed-webserver:

How comes? Any large company using litespeed now?

heh, there is also http://survey.netcraft.com/Reports/0510/ the report for 10/05 and there its even more:
LiteSpeed 252,209 (it was 142,771 in 09/05)

Not that I would dislike it, I would just like to find out where that growth is coming from .

I think most are from one customer who park a lot of domains. :-)

yeah, it looks very good .

on how many servers is this? or just one server?
I can't believe that 250K domains (even if only parked) can be hosted on just a couple of servers.
How should the webinterface look like for them?

I don't know either, but I think they don't have to explicitly create a vhost for each parked domain. :-)

They count only whole domains.
