Good guide for optimizing?
Hi.
I'm running a 4 gig VPS with a 2cpu license. I am a web developer and designer looking to offer hosting services. I know some, but not too much about admin'ing a server.
Anyhow, right now, the apachebench scores are way way worse than the same file on media temple grid service. This is pretty bad, so I know something isn't configured right with LS.
Is there a guide someone can point me to, or some good basic configs to go with? I noticed in server status when i do the AB, the CPU load is going way way up, while the memory is staying cool below 30%. Seems it should be opposite?
