simple feedback from service lsws start/stop/restart

Would it be possible to make the

service lsws start/stop/restart

command which I use often lately, give some kind of positive feedback that it has started, possibly what PID it has been assigned or something useful in general to let us know everything is okay?

A very minor feature indeed but it helps confidence

Now a much more complex request, if you are willing, would be to mimic Apache's "service httpd configtest" ie

service lsws configtest

which could go through all the httpd.conf, htaccess and possibly it's own XML config file and dump any errors it may find before we commit to a new restart
