About the license and CPUs

I think you didnt understand me,
i install lets say today lightspeed, with one cpu licence,
next month i buy the 8 cpu licence can i place it so all cpus will work ?

of course it will work. It will switch the license from 2 core to 8 core. You can ask the staff for more information

phattran911 is correct. You can upgrade the license whenever. This is the correct place to ask the staff.

I have a Dual core Xeon server,using 1 core cpu license of litespeed, holding 1350 low traffic domains. It work great with 1 cpu license.

The server load is always under 1 around all the day.

I have 8 cpu licence with out, i am testing it because i have 4-5 sites from 1k-20k uniques per day with picks 70k uniques.

wiht out litespeed server was working at 20% with litespeed for 2 cpus dropped at 5-6% and with 8 is at 1-3%

my server load is too high and mysql is using about 50-120% of CPU !!
Also sometimes I see [php] <defunct> in process manager that it using alot of cpu too.

Do you recommend me to use litespeed?
is 2core license enough for me?

My server details:
Xeon X3440 2.53GHz + 8MB Cache
8GB DDR3 RAM
Centos 5.5 64bit
Apache latest version
Cpanel latest version
