Default LSWS - could it run on Amazon EC2?

I am looking into using Amazon EC2 for running some web services that may need the sort of scalability EC2 provices.

http://developer.amazonwebservices.c...?categoryID=84

I notice there are already plenty of LAMP images ready to load up and run under EC2, so I have to ask whether Litespeed would have any problems running under EC2?

Specifically, how would the LSWS license operate when running on top of a cloud?

If hardware a dynamically allocated, I think it may not work well with LiteSpeed, because it may void the license key due to hardware signature changes.

If EC2 allocate fixed hardware to your service, it may work.

I think it may require a different licensing model to make it work well with EC2. We would be interested in work something out with Amazon if they are interested in bundle our software for their service.

using litespeed webserver with the VPS enterprise license on Amazon EC2 without issue.

In fact we've 4 servers (and 4 licenses). It complains about memory usage on large instances, that apparently you cant disable. However as its lamp hosting we dont care that litespeed itself doesnt have access to the full amount of ram.

license wise, restarting a box appears to cause no issues.
imaging and booting up a new instance of course causes license problems, need to reauthorize the license (which i've had to do several times without issue).
