Default awstats errors

Seems the awstats module is generating some error messages which I'm not sure exactly why??? Permissions seem to be okay for the log files. Ideas? Thanks

First Error: Log file exists with rights rw-r-r owner lsws
ERROR File already exists: [/www/site1.com/logs/access_log.awstats], Awstats updating might be in progress.

ERROR fork() failed

Second Error: Log file access_log.awstats doesn't exist.
ERROR Unable to rename [/www/site2.com/logs/access_log.awstats], remove it.

Maybe you need to increase the "Process Soft/Hard limit", it may cause fork() to fail.

mistwang,

Are the stats processed at the server level? Should I be increasing the Server Level Process limit?

The reason I'm asking is because I do have a limit set for the external app at the vhost template level. However, I'm assuming that setting doesn't have anything to do with awstats processes, but rather php for the application (since in this case the external app is lsapi php).

The kernel will apply the limit to a process by counting the total number of processes running as that user.
The process limits configured at server level is using with start awstats process.

LSWS awstats integration will not be integrated with PHP Nuke, you need to setup awstats manually in order to do that.
With LSWS you can configure awstats to update the statistics every hour.
