Default Help me get in operation

My only previous experience with a server was running Savant 3.0 on
a Windows system. Savant has a little quick start tutorial which makes
it easy to get up and running in a couple of minutes. It shows you
WHAT info to enter and WHERE to enter it. It was easy for me and i was
a complete newbie regarding servers.
Now i am running Linux and since Litespeed proports to be very fast,
i want to use it. I downloaded Litespeed tar.gz and the install went ok.
I started Litespeed in a root terminal.
Then i went into http://localhost:7080 and logged in. But once i'm in there
i am at a total loss as to what i need to change and what i need to enter.
Where do i enter my website url ? Where is the index.html file located
that i replace with mine?
Is there a tutorial somewhere on this site that can get me up and
running?

Here are simple steps you need to do to configure a vhost.
What you need to do is: configure a listener (on Port 80), then create a vhost pointing the document root to the directory where you store you web site, then add a listener to virtual host mapping, restart the server. You are all set. :-)

I think you should read our document for detail information.
Have fun. :-)
