Question LiteSpeed VS Apache 2.2.x Benchmark

From what I currently see the benchmark only comprises of LiteSpeed VS Apache 1.3/2.0.

I would like to know how well can LS achieve when compared to a normal Apache 2.2 (without tweaks) and a tweaked Apache 2.2.

We all want to see these! Mistwang has said that full benchmarks will be released when 4.0 is released.

This includes Standard vs Enterprise and LiteSpeed vs Apache 2.2.

There is, of course, nothing to stop you benchmarking the 3rd beta of 4.0 against Apache 2.2 yourself...

Great! Thanks for the update.

May I know roughly when will 4.0 be released?

If I knew I'd gladly tell you. I guess mistwang's response would be "when it's ready"...

Apache 2.2: mpm prefork, mpm worker, mpm event. Nginx, LiteSpeed 3.3 and lighttpd would be my list for comparison to v4. I suspect I'm over optimistic

George, do you have a timeframe for this? I and others are eagerly awaiting the benchmarks. The last ones were done almost 2 years ago.

I don't think I have time for this soon, so many more important things on our to-do list.
