Question LiteSpeed max connections per client

Good morning.

Does the Litespeed have any setting for maximum connections per client?

I have the problem regarding a Litespeed Web Server Enterprise v3.3.15 which seems to allow only two connections from the same client per time.

It is running a rails backend which is allowed to open 5 connections. The server connection limit is set to 2000 connections. If I load the data from the same browser cached in a squid cache there are four connections at the same time. If the connections are send directly to the server there are only two connections at the same time.

Can you help me getting some light into this case?

Thanks, Knut

LSWS does not limit two connections per client. Maybe it is the HTTP keep-alive, so browser only need two connections.

But even in this case there should be more than two connections. On the page there are about 30 objects in whole so the maximum number of connections should be in use.

Does the LiteSpeed HTTPD support pipelining? (More than one GET-request in one socket http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_pipelining) This would also give an explaination for this...

Yes, HTTP request pipelining is supported.
