SQL error

Hi

I have installed litespeed and after I start it I got this error on my phpBB forum

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) [2002]

Any help?

You need to build your own PHP binary, maybe the latest PHP5

Update, I have php5 but I have mysql 4 too, so. php5 can't connect to mysql 4 ?

Above error was on phpBB3, on phpBB2 I got this error:
phpBB : Critical Error
Could not connect to the database

I am sure there is a problem with connection to MySQL
With lighttpd and apache it works fine, only with litespeed I getting "Could not connect to the database" error

It's not a litespeed error, its most likely the way your compiling PHP.

Did you compile PHP with the --with-mysql & --with-mysqli flags?
