Default .htaccess Deny From All Not working
I have the follwoing in an .htaccess file:

order allow,deny
deny from all
allow from all

However, I am able to access that directory anyway. How can I fix this?

You can try change it to
Order deny, allow

should not use both
Deny from all
allow from all

only use one.
