Should't the supposedly the fastest webserver try to incorporate new technologies like SPDY: http://code.google.com/p/mod-spdy/wiki/Design

Take a look, might be good idea to look further into it.

spdy gets in the news and within days you expect it to have been implemented already?
poor litespeedtech staff.

However I do think it should be a priority.
would definitely create some nice news about litespeed if spdy was supported before google finished their apache module

By the second part of my post you could deduce that was not a demand... Just a hint.

Current releases of Apache do not support concurrent processing of more than one request on a connection, due to the mostly serialized nature of request/response flow in the existing HTTP protocol. Thus, the initial implementation of mod_spdy processes each SPDY stream (request) in a session (connection) serially.

It basically has about the same performance as HTTP request Pipelining.
