Default open_basedir restrictions

Hi Guys,

Running cPanel + LS, was just wondering if you knew of anyway to append / modify the open_basedir value so that I can let customers run the Imagemagick convert binary??

Editing the file directly won't do the job, since it just changes on the next re-generation.

Cheers,
Craig

You can do it from WHM under Security Center >> PHP open_basedir Tweak

That turn's off open_basedir, but doesn't allow me to edit it's settings to specify extra directories.

I assume it may be a case of too bad, so sad.

Could it be done via the EasyApache Template system perhaps?

Add custom.conf file for given host at /usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/std or ssl as applicable.

run /scripts/ensure_vhost_includes --help would give you all options available for running the script for include of *.conf file(s).

Untested forphp_openbase but i use this pretty often to change apache settings for given vhost.

Yes i am running LSWS.
