Question [Solved] Different virtual host path problem

Hi,

I tried to create a new virtual host on different hdd but LiteSpeed gave error.

Can you help me?

Make sure lsadm (lsws admin user) has read permission to that path as well as its parent paths.

It is not a good idea to mount hdd under /root (root user home directory). Common practice is under / so it becomes /HDD2.

Also, vhost root is not the same as vhost document root. In your case, vhost root should be $SERVER_ROOT/static_ellapink and vhost document root (in vhost general tab once vhost is created) be /HDD2/static_ellapink.

Thanks, i remount my HDD root/HDD2 to /HDD2 and give lsadm permission. problem is solved now.
