Default Cache Settings

I have installed litespeed on my dedicated server.

Current cache settings are all blank like in screenshot below.

Do I need to enter any cache settings there?
I tried to look at wiki but am confused.

Can anyone guide me please?

You don't have cache setup as everything is blank. Which part in wiki confuses you?

The first thing that confuses me is that do we really need to enable cache?

We have few users hosted on our server and have static as well as dynamic sites.

So so we need to enable cache or litespeed will still work good and users will still experience faster speed as compared to apache?

Litespeed still faster even without LS cache being enabled. LS cache is page cache for dynamic script like php. if your server have more resources to spare and want even more faster speed, then you can use LS cache.

Thanks for your reply.
One more question.

If we enable LS cache then does it auto cache all php files for all users on server?

Or do we need to log into each user's hosting account and make some changes to their htaccess for that?

you can enable private cache for caching each account's php script. no tweaks required to their htaccess. however, if each account needs different cache expire time, tweaking is needed in their htaccess to override general cache policy settings.
