Default mmturck-cache and php 4.3.7 core-dumps

I just noticed that my self-compiled php 4.3.7 + mmturck-cache 2.4.6 doesn't seem to be very reliable...I get quite regulare php core dumps which completely disappeared after disabling mmturck-cache.

Well, looks like I have to investigate this more deeply, but first I'll give Zend Optimizer a try

Cheers,
Andy

Andy,

You can try the lastest mmcache in CVS on sf.net, We had been informed that the bug that causes php 4.3.7 core dumps has been fixed in CVS.

Cheers,
George

Turck mmcache will only work on 32bit Linux so far. Using it on Redhat Fedora 2 64bit on Athlon64 for example will result in core dumps no matter what. At least this my experience with Fedora 2 devel tree with latest everything. I hope they can fix this but development for mmcache seem to have slowed to a crawl at this moment.

The feed back we got is about Fedora Core 2 on Athlon64. :-)
The author of mmcache are working for Zend now, but there are a couple developers are trying to take over the project.
