External LSPHP servers - different versions?

Hello there,
let's say we are using lsws with external lsphp machines. All of them use php 5.3. Would it be possible to have another lsphp machine but with eg. php 5.4 and use it on per-user or per-domain basis?
If so - please advice how do we setup it.

Thank you - does this apply to different php versions on tottaly different external machines?
Meaning can we have 5.3 load balanced on 2 lsphp servers and 5.4 on another one (not load balanced obviously) ?
