Looks like some thing related to the AIO thread, if you turn off AIO, will it back to normal?
Yes after turning this option off it is ok. Why AIO do some hight cpu usage?
It has something to do with freebsd 7 thread support, not sure relate to freebsd 6 compatible layer or not. we will give it a try in our lab later.
maby consider to drop support for freebsd 4/5 and support
Freebsd 8 & freebsd 6 (freebsd 7 will be supported by compatiblily libs)
I arledy upgraded to Freebsd 8
How is 4.1 coming along?
Yes, what is the latest? An update would be nice, please!
We are still working on it.
So how long before the final release?
Yes please can you provide a status update or even if there is going to be an rc3? Thanks and keep up the excellent work!
Right now the main feature need to be done is the mod_status like function, since a lot important new features need to be added in the 4.0 release branch, and some emergency cases need to be take care of like, the mess with cPanel 11.25, so have to postpone the 4.1 release. Will work on it as soon as possible.
Thanks for the update. Gotta love cPanel! Always messing things up, lol.
I was curious if there was any plan to support TLS + SNI in 4.1, since it exists in the version of OpenSSL you're shipping (and above).
SNI support has been added to 4.1 branch.
Any updates, George?
It looks as though they are getting close to releasing RC3. They had a version ready for when the hacking issues arose last week but it had some problems. I think they are fixing that and may be close to an RC3 release.
this was from my host?
Yes we are waiting for Litespeed next update, problem is that we cannot use Litespeed stable version 4.0 as phpmotion do not work with it so we are waiting for 4.1 next release probably RC3 and LSAPI 5.4
once its out we will do internal testing with phpmotion and let you know how it goes.

anyupdate on newer version rc3 - lsapi5.4
Does it work with JWplayer? What streamer do I have to choose? Video files are fine - nginx worked with them + random seek.
we tested with flowplayer -- see wiki page http://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php?id=litespeed:wiki:feature:mp4_streaming
It works with JWplayer! You must select "provider:http" to make random seek work.
