Architecture of LiteSpeed

I'm a student of computer science and I'm writing a short paper on the performance of web servers.
I haven't found the specific about the architecture of LiteSpeed. Is it process-driven architecture or hybrid architecture with multithread?

single thread, event driven. can start multiple lshttpd process to take advantage of SMP.
