htaccess hostnames not working

Hey there,

I have been having this problem since switching to LiteSpeed Web Server is I use htaccess deny and allow for admin control panels and such and I deny normally all IP addresses and allow only certain ones and for some people that need access to it their IP ranges constantly changes so I use their hostname instead but the problem is hostnames aren't actually working and it's still forbidden when using LiteSpeed compared to Apache.

I want to know is can this be changed or no?

LiteSpeed does not perform DNS lookup during runtime due to the event-driven architecture, so you need to use a cron job to update the .htaccess with actual IP used.

It wont be changed in the near future.
