Virtualhost named base / ip based...can litespeed do?

    i learning to setup dns locally on my pc, for example foo.com ...all success, the question is..how to configure on litespeed so we can access those domain [foo.com] with browser. i try to make virtualhost and type on browser i just give me an error messeges:

    The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: foo.com

    Connection to 10.10.10.2 failed.

    The system returned: (111) Connection refused

    The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

    Help me please....

    how about add a entry in /etc/hosts

    127.0.0.1 foo.com

    and access foo.com in browser.

    i did include to /etc/hosts...still failed...make me confused....

    can you post your /etc/hosts here?

    nix@caesar:~$ cat /etc/hosts
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    10.10.10.2 foo.com

    change /etc/hosts to
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    127.0.0.1 foo.com

    foo.com will work

    can you ping 10.0.0.2 at your box? i.e.,
    nix@caesar:~$ ping 10.0.0.2
