Running v4.2.23 :

Can;t update to 5.0.1 via web interface. Error is:

Error: Failed to download release 5.0.1! Please try upgrade manually.

1) how to fix? if unfixable, how to upgrade manually?

2) will 4.2.x series be continued? If so, might just stick on this 4.2.x branch

Which OS are you using?
5.0.x packages are available for Linux and FreeBSD.
FreeBSD packages now require FreeBSD 8.0+, may need manual download and installation due to package name change.

thanks , that worked. maybe the fail was due to some PHP functions I have disabled, but normally webui upgrades work fine

Question: will 4.2.x series be continued? Or is that branch not being updated anymore?

We may put out one more release 4.2.x branch if serious security bug has been discovered.
5.x branch will have lot more great features to come, no reason to stay with 4.2.x .

We have gotten the same error message when trying to upgrade from 5.0.0 to 5.0.1 via the web interface, and also from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2.

Both times, we have had to use the command line to upgrade.

In the web interface, clicking the 'Force Reinstall' link for the current version also produces the same error:

"Error: Failed to download release 5.0.2! Please try upgrade manually."
We are on CloudLinux 6.6, and previous upgrades via the web interface were fine.
