I am still developing a site - Had Enterprise 1CPU with LS Cache add on - Every this was running fine, but since this site is still being developed, we downgraded to regular LiteSpeed VPS edition as the cache was interfering to much.

I have re-intalled LS server on cPanel, but I am unable to get LS up and running - here is my error messages:

  • Failed to bring up LiteSpeed
  • httpd (pid 24763?) not running
  • Apache Stopped.
  • LiteSpeed is not up within 30 secs, try again by removing /tmp/lshttpd/.
  • **ERROR** LiteSpeed is not up within 60 secs, please check the error log and try again.
  • Apache port offset has been set to 0.

There must be some cache remain that I am unable to find / delete.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks Roald

I am using the LiteSpeed cPanel plugin to setup LiteSpeed, and I have never had any issues before.

I recompiled the apache web server using easy apache. The LiteSpeed WS EasyApache Intergration is enabled. Also LSphp and apache php are matched (5.6.25)

Still getting the same error.

Does anyone know the max ram I can use with just the LS VPS server.
I am getting conficting messages from LiteSpeed Support. They say that the max ram for LS VPS is below 2 GB. If my VPS server is 2 GB or more, then the LSWS will not start. One the wiki support, they state 2 GB and below.

My development server is:
FLEX VPS - 2 GB
CENTOS 6 - I386 (32-BIT)

I am still not able to start the LIteSpeed server. But my point is that I have used the $14 VPS before on my server, and now I can't

Well everything is up and running. The LS VPS (2G Max Ram version) is working fine.
I don't know why it did not function after the downgrade. Could be that is takes the licencing server a few days to recognize it.
